The world is certainly good at keeping Taylor Swift’s legal team gainfully employed, ain’t it? Today we bring you not one, but two legal wranglings in the wild world of Swift.

First off, remember that whole matter of Denver radio host David Mueller who was accused of groping Taylor’s backside while getting his photo taken with her? She claimed he lifted her “skirt with his hands and grabbed her bottom,” which got him fired from his job. Mueller vehemently denied the accusations and countered with a lawsuit. He even went so far as to point the finger at his boss, Eddie Haskell, as being the groper.

Now Swift’s camp is seeing his suit and raising with one of its own! That’s right. You mess with the bum, you get the horns…or something like that. Her lawsuit claims, “Ms. Swift knows exactly who committed the assault—it was Mueller—and she is not confused in the slightest about whether her long-term business acquaintance, Mr. Haskell, was the culprit.” She wants this case to serve “as an example to other women who may resist publicly reliving similar outrageous and humiliating acts.” Any money Swift is awarded as a result of the case will be donated to “charitable organizations dedicated to protecting women from similar acts of sexual assault and personal disregard.”

Next up on the docket is the case of R&B singer Jesse Graham, who says Swift lifted the chorus of his smash (?) hit “Haters Gone Hate” for her literal actual smash hit “Shake it Off.” Here’s the best part: Prior to filing his lawsuit, Graham requested a selfie with Swift. We’re not sure if he was turned down, but he then decided to instead sue her for a mere $42 million (plus a writing credit on the song).

So let’s do a little comparison of the two songs, shall we?

First up is Swift’s “Shake it Off.”

And here is the legendary Jesse Graham’s “Haters Gone Hate.”

Wait a minute…is it us, or does Graham’s song sound awfully similar to “Midnight Train to Georgia”? Get Gladys Knight on the horn.

In any case, we wish both of these men the best of luck in challenging the Taylor Swift Empire. It’ll be fun to watch.
